Hey all,

I've just about finished a lengthy audio install in my 300zx but I've run into a little bit of a snag. I haven't been able to find any info on the color code/pinout for the stock stereo wiring harness <as I will not be using an adapter, but soldering in the appropriate wiring>. I've checked the diagram database here and I have brought up the info on the 1990 300zx...I'm just not sure if it is for the premium bose system or the non-bose.

I believe that car has a factory amp located under the passenger seat.

actually there are 4 factory amps, 5 if you have the centre channel, and each of them are built into the speaker enclosures. the input wires are all black and BLACK/ white, so you'll need to test for continuity or use a tone generator to determine which is which.
