Can you hook up the remote wire for neons up to the trunk light so that every time the trunk is open and the truink light comes on, the neons come on?

the remote wire on the neons??? Do you mean underglow neons, or standard interior neons? If you mean the normal interior neons, just splice into the wiress. pos - pot, neg-neg. should do the trick. might not get as much power as it should, but it should work. I would just disconnect the light, and then do it.

yep.  thats what id do.  just for sh*ts and giggles id probably throw a fuse in there to, but you souldnt have to do that.  you could also hook up a relay and a switch to it.  then you could turn it on or off whenever, and the neon would still come on whenever the trunk is opened if its not already on.

Yea you can do it for the remote on the trunk.  Lots of people do it and so far I dont think anyones had trouble with it except me cuz my trunk light is shorted out lol

Yea I would try the remote thing and the switch thing but I dont know how to put a relay on it or what a relay is. I was just thinking of splicing into the wired but if you could tell me the relay way that would be great.

get a SPDT (i think) relay and follow the instructions on it... it gives you more power and doesnt draw so much from the source
