I've got a question about my FADER on my headunit (Alpine CDA-7995)

I am installing a pr of Infinity Coaxs in the rear deck of my Honda Accord, & i would like to be able to shut them off completely (if i desire).

Can i use the fader on the H/U to "fade" out the rear, to ONLY THE FRONTS? & also use it to adjust the staging within the car (bring the image to the front.....(purists, please bear with me) )

will this affect the sound / (quality) of the output of the H/U?  ((( the Alpine CDA-7995 has 3 outputs: Front, Rear, & Subwoofer )))

what exactly does the FADER control do?

thanks! (in advance)

Fader control does just that...it fades the sound from front to back and vice versa...

It will not completely fade it out...but it will be inaudible.  Reason is is less signal is given to that output to the point where it is almost non-existent...so there's no much to reproduce.  I hope that made sense..

Yes to an extent you can use it to set up staging....but most of the staging has to do with speaker imaging, sound reproduction, etc.....All the fader will really do is make the music seem like it's coming from the front or rear.....

No it will not effect the SQ output of the H.U. but it will effect how you hear it..
