I have a JL Audio 12" W3v2 sub and pair of XR650-CX component speakers. I was asking around for an amplifier to push the system. I want to buy one amp. Some peeps recommended the JL 500/5 and some said check Rockford for a better sounding "musical" amp......Need some help here.

hmmm both are really good. i am running MB quarts front and rears with a rockford amp and they sound incredible. but can you really see yourself getting rockford if 75% of your stuff is really JL? and i dont see why JL wouldnt have the potential of being a musical amp. especially a 5 channel amp. plus i heard the more of the same product you have, the better the sound. and i frankly agree cause my bro's system is nothing the same product and mine is, and its already louder.
