Has anyone installed one of the new Soundstream SC series Caps yet to be able to comment on their performance good or bad? I have a client that is looking to invest in a few of the top end units and I am looking for some testimonials. It doesn't matter which one, SC-1 through SC-40C.

Due to the level of investment,I appreciate your candor from a hands on perspective, as it goes without saying that they are cool looking pieces.

You input is much appreciated.posted_image

In my opinion, a cap is a cap and what the extra money buys you is looks and flash.  The only perfoemance specification that can make a difference is ESR (equivalent series resistance.)  Lower ESR numbers means higher performance (in general) at the same capacitance level (farads.)  So if the SC has low ESR numbers (like less than 0.2 ohms) they place less of an impedence load on your system than caps with higher numbers.
