I have a 1996 VW Passat VR6 GLX

How do I pull the radio on this? Do I need Radio removal tools? Anything special

Yes you need radio removal tools or try a coat hanger in each of the 4 holes in the front panel of the factory radio, one hole in each corner.Gently apply outwards pressure to all 4 holes at the same time and it should pull forward.
