Ray,
Cerwin Vega recommends that you use a vented (bass reflex) enclosure with these subs. They can handle 500w rms (root mean sqaure). So depending on whether they are DVC or Single coil you could get a 2 ohm or 8 ohm mono load for single, or 1 ohm or 4 mono ohm load for dual. Any way it goes you would want to get a Class D amp that could push 1000w rms @ 2 ohms OR a 4 channel amp that pushes 500w rms for each briged channel @ 4 ohms for single coil woofers. For dual coil subs you would want a class D that could push 1000w rms @ 1 ohm, or an amp that can push 1000w rms at 4 ohms. You could also use 2 class D amps that push 500w rms at 2 ohms in this situation for DVC subs.
As far as your enclosure, you want to use a 3.5 cubic foot per section vented enclosure, tuned to 35 Hz on either the DVC or single coil subs. This would require a 6" diameter port with a length of 13.42 inches, or 2 4" diameter ports with a length of 11.69 inches. Be sure to take driver and port displacement into account when you build your box. The driver has a displacement of .26 cubic ft. A 6" dia. port @ 13.42 in. would have a displacement of .27 cubic ft. or 2 4" ports @ 11.69 in. would have a displacement of .21 cubic ft. Make sure to place your ports at least 3 inches from any given corner of the box.
That should sum it up, but if you need any more help, just e-mail....
