Is the basic wiring harness adapter the same for a 99 F150 and a 02 SportTrac? Neither one came with more than the basic stereo. I want to temporarily pull the aftermarket headunit out of my truck and put it in my wife's ST. I would just try it but the way I wired the front speakers in my truck I would have to cut the wires. Don't want to do that unless I know it will work.
Anyone know one way or the other?
Thanks

Take out the radios and look, it is the best way to be sure. I think they are the same harness.
------------- Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

Thanks guys,
I went to try it and remembered that one of the speaker wires had come out of the harness. That would have probably bugged me more on my 900 mile trip than not being able to see the movies the kids were playing in the back seat.
I need to get a video head unit for the wife's vehicle.
