Sorry to bother again i just bought two 10" rockford fosgate subs and im curious if im going to blow up my kicker amp that is specs are 130 watts X 2 or bridged at 400 watts ok , the only reason is because these speakers are 8 ohms speakers not 4 ohms you know specs are as follow 150 Watts RMS, 400 Peak ,8 OHMS Impedance any help willl aprreciated if i forgot some thing pls let me know thanks

Assuming that's 400 watts RMS, and that it's a Stereo Amp, it will push 400 watts bridged into 1 channel at 4 ohms, anything below that wouldn't be safe. Wire your 2 8 ohm speakers in parallel and you will deliver a 4 ohm load to the amp. Seeing that the subs can only handle 300 watts RMS total, you will want to keep your bass gain fairly low, as the amp will deliver a little too much power.

If you wanted to be safe you could put one sub on each channel of your amp, except that would underpower those subs pretty bad. I think the setup that aggie altima suggested would be best. One thing though, the gain on the amp isn't a volume control, so the only way to keep those subs from blowing at high volumes is to just listen for distortion. I think these subs will be fine with this amp though.
