I have a pioneer dex-p88 connected to 3 amp's everytime i switch sources on the stereo (cd , to fm, from the cd to the radio Period. The speaker's keep making a loud popping noise, How can i get rid of this problem? thanks for your help Later. P.S Does anyone have an online opereator manual for this online stereo Pioneer only sell's them and they take forever (Pioneer dex-p88)

"popping" when switching sources is usually an indication of a bad ground or a defective head unit. Pioneers are notorious for haveing bad ground circuits in their head units. One way you might be able to minimize this is to run a new dedicated ground for the HU to the car's chassis: don't use the factory ground wire in the dash.

How'd you buy a head unit without an owner's manual?

I agree with Dyohn, Pioneer is notorious for bad ground circuits. Run a new ground wire and see what happens.
