I recently bought a new Pioneer Premier DEH-840MP and had it professionally installed along with new speakers and an amp for the speakers. The sound is great when i'm playing a cd but the radio quality is almost non existant. Stations that I used to recieve clearly on my factory H/U are now filled with static. I have a 2001 Honda Prelude Type SH and was wondering if there was anything i could do to boost the radio signal.

I would really appreciate your help because i know very little about car audio systems.

It sounds like anything from a bad antennae connecton behind the dash to a hidden antennae amplifier. Try checking your connection behind the dash first.
