I heard some crap about the new Beetle and if you put an aftermarket radio in it, it will not pass emmissions?? Any one else hear this or anything like it? A friend of mine's sister has one and bought a radio for it and I called my buddy who's worked at Best Buy for years in the install bay and he said Best Buy wont do it because it will fail emissions when an aftermarket deck is put in it. Any ideas? Anybody ever installed one and not have any problems? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!!

I've put radio's in those before with no issues with emissions. The only thing that is a hang up with all VWs and aftermarket stuff is that VW will void their entire warranty on the car if it has any aftermarket stuff in it. Thats how it is in Mass. dunno about anywhere else tho.
