Hi all..
I just bought a MP3 radio for this van (year 1999 or 2000 I don't remember), cause it hasn't one, but when I was ready to connect it, I saw that the wires din't matched (colors and order), and I need some help to connect it.

In the radio I have 4 cables:
Yellow, blue,red, black.
In the car I have:
White w/blue, red, brown, white w/red, brown w/red, purple and gray w/ white.

I found some info at: www.installdr.com , but in the PDF I there aren't the same colors

Should be a 70-1784. If it's not that then why don't you just take out the trusty 9.6V battery and a multimeter and find out all of your connections the old fashioned way? If you don't know how to i'd be happy to tell you.

Why not use an aftermarket wiring plug and save yourself some headaches?

That's what a 70-1784 is. It's a metra wiring harness

if its jammed force it - if it breaks in the process it needed to be fixed anyway
