I am helping a friend out on installing an amp for his 2002 Honda Accord Coupe. I pretty much have everything wired up for the amp but the problem is finding the remote wire to turn on the amp. He has a Stockhead unit and I wanted to know where from the wiring harness am I able to find a wire that will turn on the amp. If someone can answer this I'd be much appreciated. Thanks

Check the power antenna wire, or you can put in a 0.3v switch to do it manually.

the power antenna wire only works on "radio" but if he were to play tape or cd which ever, the antenna wire turns off. Connect the amp turn on wire to an ignition source. so when the key is on, there is power in the wire, but when its off its off..

Alpine is right, but you have to also set it up on a fused circuit. You should fuse it at 0.3v. ------------- Rhino - Bringing you only the best in car audio!!
