For my next set up i plan to run a Mrd-m1001 to 3 Type-R 12's .

Im looking at getting 2 dual 4ohm ,  and 1 dual 2 ohm.  i will series each sub,  the dual 4's to 8 ohms each, and the dual 2 to 4 ohms.   Then paralell them to the amp to get a 2 ohm load right??

So thats 8 + 8 +4 then paralell to the amp to get 2 ohm.?

Its been a while since i had to do any hard thinking haha

Will doing that give a different voltage to the dual 2 ohm sub vs. the dual 4 ohm ones??

Yea, that's not a good plan.  The lower impedence sub will use more current than the higher impedence ones and will be louder.  Just put three 8-ohm subs in parallel for 2.666 ohms on the amp.
