For my rear fill/deck speakers…
Kappa 62.5i 6-1/2 2-way or Kappa 692.5i 6x9 2-way?

I only have 80W RMS x 2 and I will cut either off at 120Hz.
The 6-1/2 is rated at 2-75W RMS, while the 6x9 is rated at 2-110W RMS.

Is the 6-1/2 better?

IN GENERAL, a 6.5" speaker tends to sound more natural and have better voicing than a 6X9". A 6X9 will have far better bass response. Listen to both and see which one has the sound you are looking for.
