My friend needs to upgrade his capacitor because he has changed his amps out to more powerful ones. Plus this rack mount cap would look better resesed into the custom box that we built.  The question is, I found him a 1.2 farad cap online on ebay and it says it is a 20 volt nominal, 24 volt suge. It is made by voodoo. I searched around on here but could not find anything on the voltage of capacitors. His system is running normaly in the voltage range of 14.4 to around 9 volts when the 1100 watt amp is at full power.

Will this 20 volt cap work in his car?

Here are the specs:

1.2 Farad Capacity +/- 10%
New Rack/Surface Mount Design
Four 1/0 Gauge inputs
20 Volt Nominal 24 Volt Surge
Auto on/off Hyper Blue L.E.D. Digital Readout

Soft on/off Circuit
Brightly Polished Chrome Finish
Machined Mounting Brackets
Charging Bulb Included
Wooden Gift Box and white gloves included
Voodoo Decal Included
Pure chrome and highest Voodoo Quality!
Handle length 1-1/2"

Thank  You

Brian
