OK guys.  Maybe I was wrong about the Volfenhag.  I had just started selling them, and I wanted to see what everyone's reaction was of them with a plug.  :o):

I guess they aren't popular.  I am experimenting with a few new lines.  Anyone got any ideas?  I am thinking about Orion if I can ever figure out how to get ahold of a rep. I'm not interested in Alpine, Eclipse, JBL, JL, Kicker, Memphis, or Rockford.  Any other good quality companies our there??

What aren't you interested in the brands you listed?

Autotek, Adire, Adcom, Audio Control, Blaupunkt, Boston Acoustics, Cadance, Denon, Diamond Audio, Focal, Harrison Labs, KEF, MB Quart, McIntosh, MTX, Nakamichi, Phillips, Planet Audio, PPI, Swiss Audio, Scan Speak, SEAS, Xtant, Zapco to name a few off the top of my head...

I know there are a lot of other brands out there.  I am looking for good quality products that I can compete against the brands that I listed earlier.  "not interested in Alpine, Eclipse, JBL, JL, Kicker, Memphis, or Rockford.  Any other good quality companies our there??" The other local shops all have these brands.  I am looking for something that I can compete against or even blow away my competition.  I want to compete with their costs and especially their quality.

I don't own or work in a shop or anything, but why wouldn't you want those brands? In no way am I criticizing, but I would think it might help to carry a brand that EVERYBODY knows to attract more customers. There are many people who only know what's in the major chain stores, so they wouldn't be attracted to what they don't know.

What about head units? The brands you cutoff (specifically Eclipse and Alpine) have some great units, especially for the buck.

Digital Design is a big competetor with eclipse out here in hawaii, although im not too sure why the prices are lower but the subs require a much larger enclosure.

aggie altima

The reason I don't want to carry those brands is because the other local shps carry them, and I want somthing different.  Not to mention, that I couldn't get those brands because of territory restrictions.

OK Guys.  It looks like I might be picking up Orion.  Anyone got any ideas on subs that mesh well with Orion Amps.  I know the upper end Orion subs do, but they can get high priced.  I was thinking a little lower on the scale.  I will be carrying the upper end Orions, but I wanted something to sell to people with a little less money.  Any Ideas?

It really doesn't matter which lines you carry, as long as your shop can make them sound good. Granted, put a JL 1000-1 on 2 w7s and you will be good to go, as long as you have custumers that can drop $2500 on their subs

Selling a guy 2 audiobahn 12's and a soundstorm 500.2 installed with an amp kit for $450 and making his trunk rattle is a little different. And Easy.
