ok i just bought 2 new subs... rockford fosgate rfz3412 for $110.... what do u think about this subs and did i get ripped off?? or any suggestion?? also how should i hook this up with my rockford forsgate punch 800@2?? i want my subs to sound good and loud....

btw what kind of box i should get for my subs for better performance?? i have a astro van if that helps.

if you mean the punch 800.2, then you should just wire each sub to it's own channel on the amp. Your amp pushes 200 watts RMS x 2 @ 4 ohms, so each sub will recieve 200 watts RMS. Your subs can only handle 150 watts RMS, so do not turn your gains up or you will damage your subs. If you want to use the amp at its full potential, find either 2 subs that are 4 ohm DVC or 2 ohm SVC, and can handle around 400 watts RMS each. If you are trying to stick with Rockford, then look at the Punch HE2 series.

its 800a2... i think its the same... well do u have any suggestion for the type of subs i should look into... it doesnt matter what brand i have... i just want a boom in my van... hehe

well, what would you LIKE to spend??? For good subs, you'll be looking at at least 200.

the 800a2 is the power seires from 2000 i have the 1000a2 it is an awesome amp.
