Car Stereo Security Code Requests

There have been a number of requests for head unit security codes posted lately on this forum.  Please be aware that from now on I will delete them when I see them.

I do not feel these requests are appropriate for this forum, as posting security codes in public defeats their purpose and encourage thieves.  I am not suggesting the folks who have been asking for the information are thieves, please understand, but only that this is not the appropriate place to find such information.

If you are the legitimate owner of a head unit that has become locked out for some reason and you cannot recall your security code, take the head to an authorized service center in your area (along with proof of ownership) and they will help you.
