i had just installed a pyle 6.4 inch motorized in dash tv with a boss dvd player. and i am getting a whistling noise when the car is on

are you getting noise when playing dvd's or with the radio or both? Make sure ur units have a good ground.

you have engine noise, you can get a ground loop isolator or a noise filter and that should help out somewhat

you have engine noise most likely from a bad ground, you can get a ground loop isolator or a noise filter and that should help out somewhat, and double check all your grounds, if your radio's harness has a factory ground, cut it and make yourself a new one to some bare metal.
