have you checked your, RCA cable's and RCA out puts on the back of your unit? "Reciver"? cause i was having the same prob. with a system the otherday. and that is what it turned out to be after playing with it all day trying and trying to figure it out, and returning items back to the store!

just somthing you can check out!

i did check RCA cables and output. the cables is brand new and the output seemed working when i connected to my home stereo. someone has suggested it indicates protection mode. is it possible?dont know much about this. nothing in the manual either.

just because the RCA's are brand new doesn't suggest they work properly have you tried several other sets?

unhook the RAC's and speaker outputs from the amp so that just the power ground and remote are hooked to the amp and try to power it up. if it powers up the turn off and plug in RCA's and power up again. next the speaker wires. if any of these send it into protection then you've found your problem.

if its jammed force it - if it breaks in the process it needed to be fixed anyway

i've tried that. still blinks. u think the problem is major? what do u think might have caused this problem? coz  when i tested it an hour ago it was fine but soon as i hooked it to my car it went dead. i'm pretty sure i didn't do anything stupid. all the wiring was done according to the manual. have u got a same amp?
