I was wondering what would happen if i wired my 4 ohm thunder 8000's to 2 ohms

What would happen in what sense? That isnt really a very good way to word that question. I mean if you wire your subs in 2 ohms than its gonna put a larger load on the amp which will cause one of two things. It will either increase the power output or it will make it heat up and shut off or just blow up. What kinda amp are you using. As far as the subs go, essencially nothing will happen to them.

thanks alot you completely answered my question as for the amp i just bought 2 pioneer 760 watt amps 1 for each of my subs.
