I have a 1997 Montero Sport and I am trying to find the factory amp so I can bypass it. I also have a question about the power antenna. It recivies power from the factory radio. Can I just use a relay to feed it 12 volts using the ant lead off of the cd player? This vehicle has the infinity sound system and there are no speaker wires be hind the radio, they are at the amp. It seems that the amp is feed a signal by a speacial cable straight out of the radio. Any help would be most helpful. brianh

On My '98 the amp is in the back panel right above the right tire. It's a pain to get to but all the speaker wires are there so you can bypass the amp if you want to.
