Subject: 2 Amps and 4 SVC subs, Probs need help?

I own 2 Alpine MRV-100M Amplifiers, which produces100W into 4 Ohms and 150W into 2 Ohms, and I wish to run them to 4 Clarion SRW 2541 SVC SUBS, which run at 4 Ohms each and the enclosure (sealed) has 1 pair of line inputs.
I wish to wire these subs in Series/Parallel, (if there’s a better way, tell me) which would produce a 4-ohm load. I understand the wiring, but now, when I add another amp it becomes a little unclear. Does this 4 ohm load get reduced into 2 when I add a second amp?
I want to use both amps, but I risk causing damage to my subs if one amp goes, right?
Nor, will not have as much power if I only use 1 amp to power these 4 subs?
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't connect the outputs of 2 amps together to a single output. I think those subs are 200 watts RMS, so perhaps you would want to either get:
an amp thats about 800 watts RMS @ 4 ohms
1.a class d amp that pushes about 800 watts RMS @ 1 ohm
2.(this would be the most useful I believe)
3.add another set of terminals to the box so each terminal would be at 2 ohms and each amp their own terminal

oops, sorry my labels are wrong (it's late and I'm supposed to be doing homework)
1.a stereo amp thats about 800 watts RMS @ 4 ohms bridged
2.a class d amp that pushes about 800 watts RMS @ 1 ohm (this would be the most useful I believe)
3.add another set of terminals to the box so each terminal would be at 2 ohms and each Alpine amp has their own terminal

thanks man. the best idea would be to get 1 amp. The system is working right now but its wired directly to each sub and spliced from the inputs connections.

There was a mistake, I have 2 inputs.

IMO, the single amplifier would still be best to ensure that all subs get the exact same signal at the exact same time without worrying about any kind of differences that a dual amp setup could possibly have (just a personal preference). Oh yeah, your car link isn't working for some reason.
