I just completely redone my system and i was wondering what is the right way to safely break it in. I have 2kenwood kfc6959ie 200 watt 6x9's and two kfc1679ie 160 watt 6 1/2's. I also have two Kenwood kfcw3005 12" 4-ohm 1400watt subs with a kenwood 800 watt amp. its not much but its a start. the stuff is all brand new and i was wondering what a safe way to break this all in is. Thanks in advanced. Aaron

well like i said in the topic in breaking in subs. you can play it loud, but just remember to have no distortion what so ever. distortion is a bad friend that you dont want to have around! lol

SET YOUR GAIN TO MATCH THE OUTPUT OF YOUR HEAD UNIT. PLAY IT NORMAL TO HARD FOR ABOUT A WEEK AND THEN YOU CAN START TWEAKING A BIT MORE

i use a warble tone generator made by Technics. Any good audio shop will have one... only problem is you'll need it for a while, and they are expensive.... if you run a shop or work in one, it is a good investment. Alot of them are built into frequency generators... which are also good investments for SQ sake.
