what fuse ratings are recommended for amps putting out the following wattage? 2x50 watts RMS 2x80 watts RMS 1x120 watts RMS i have these connected with 8awg wire to a fused distribution block, and i want to know what agu fuses to get.

you would be fine with a 40 amp, since your not gonna be pulling alot of power

a 40 amp at the battery, or three 40 amp fuses in the distribution block?

at the block, from the battery are you running 8 guage or 4? if its 8 id use a 60, if 4 id use an 80. If you 2 guage or 1/0, use like a 100 for 2 guage, and like 150 or 180 for 1/0

easiest way is look at the fuse on the amps use the same value at the distro block for each amp and tehn add all 3 values up and use that at the battery. example each amp has a 20 amp fuse so each amp would get a 20 at the distrobution block and the fuse at the battery would be 60.
note the actual current draw for the figures provided would be about 36 amps aprox..this is total current draw at full power for all 3 amps but this number will vary with amp design,voltage provided,amp eficiency,whether the amp is bridged,etc.

why not just buy yourself an 80 amp circuit breaker? Atleast if you do happen to blow the main fuse you can easily reset it w/o driving around trying to find fuses. Esp if the store is closed on a holiday or sumtin LOL.

it's 4awg from the battery to the block, and then 8awg from the block to each amp. only one amp is bridged, it's the 2x80 watts amp. mobiletoys, how did you come up with 36 amps total current draw?

Use this calculator, you can figure your amp draw https://www.the12volt.com/ohm/ohmslaw.asp It probably is right around 22 amps for what you described. Mobiletoys figured on the worse case scenario, in other words you could not draw more than 36 amps.
