Recently I installed an aftermarket stereo in my 1990 LS 400.  Everything works, except the rear center speaker.  There is a blue plug (which I am assuming is for that speaker) that has 6 wires and one of them is hot, but I do not know  how do I hook it into the new deck?  Any info on what to do would be great.

Thanks

You need to connect the remote wire to your HD unit.  That speaker is factory amplified and the remote from the head unit turns it on.

Is the remote wire a part of the factory harness of the new head unit?

Yes, it's the blue/white wire or on some units, it's blue

Which one of the 6 remaining wires do I hook the blue wire into?

Which one of the 6 remaining wires do I hook the blue wire into?   I think there is a blue, pink, and 4 other smaller wires.

I think it's the pink wire, but to be safe, get a 1 amp fuse and place one end on the blue wire from your radio and touch the other end to each of the other wires.  The speaker will play once you find the right wire, or the fuse will blow if you touch the wrong one.
