Hi..

In my system I only have a  PPI 2600 with 2  12W3 D4 and Alpine MRV-F357 V12 5 channels. I have a  1Farad cap before the PPI 2600.

I want to replace my normal battery for a Deep cycle battery. Will I damage my alternator with this type of batteries.?

I dont know what to do...!!!

buy the deep cycle bat or its o.k. only with my cap?

thanks

If you get a deep cycle battery you can still use your existing alternator. I would use both the battery and the capacitor for optimal performance.

Most people will tell you to get the batt and forget about the cap.  If you don't have enough electrical current supply, you're best bet is to get a high-output alternator.  Caps don't do much.  They help with headlight dimming and rpm jumping SOMETIMES, but usually they are a waste of $$$.
