how do you guys decide on what the best location for a ground is? and do you just use a self taping screw and a washer? or what do you guys use, thanks.

use your self a nice step up bit in your makita and drill a through hole using washers and a bolt and nut to secure your ground to frame. or you can just stick a self tapping screw threw the body any where in your trunk that is solid metal un-painted with a washer to hold the ring terminal on.... i personally like the first method better.

Unpainted metal is the operative word here, then screw it down tight just don't strip the threads.

you probably won't find any unpainted metal so just use a grinder and take the paint off until you get about and inch by inch square then ground through there
