It seems most components speakers are listed as 4 ohm. Is this for each speaker or for a mid/tweeter pair?

Another way to ask: Is a set of components:

1. two pair of 4 ohm speakers

  or

2. two pair of 8 ohm speakers (meant to be wired in parallel to get 4 ohm)

Thanks!

A 4-ohm component set will place a 4-ohm load on your amplifier when connected using the provided crossover.  Each speaker will be 4-ohms and the crossover ensures only 1 (effectively) is connected to the amp at a time.
