I want to install a CD & Radio on my pontoon. The stereo has wires :Yellow memory, Black ground, Red Ignition, Orange Power Antenna, I hooked it up to a 12 volt battery I hooked the yellow and red wires both to the positive terminal? And nothing to the negitive? Ran the black ground to metal on the steering gear. Still nothing works, Can anyone help, Please

You will probably have to run the black-ground to the negative on the battery. Use a length of wire to connect the black to neg. post of battery to test. You are probably not getting a complete circuit by grounding into the steering gear.
