I have a question that has been argued over time and time again. When you have a ported or sealed box do you need to make it 2 chamber or leave it open for a single chamber. I have been looking at different manufacturer's some are open and some are two chambered. If you have a single, will one speaker drown out the other. I hope someone can clear me up on this. I am getting some Volfenhag subs if it makes any difference. I like the subs, has anyone had any problems with them? Thanks in advance

manufacturers will almost always recommend a dual chambered box, this is in case you blow one sub the other sub doesn't have too much air space and get erratic, I always use a single chambered box though. It is nearly impossible to get the exact same air space in each side of a dual chambered box, if the air space isn't identicle the frequency that your subs play at will be slightly different, so it will sound funny. If you use a single chamber it is a certanty that both subs will sound the same.
