Hi I'm installing the new avic-n1 in a Mustang 04 and I need to locate the VSS, Anybody can help out there.

Iv had to ask the dealer in the past, , not to many people on the board will know off hand, and its not the kind of wire normally listed on wire diagrams.

Best answer I can give you right now, is that Ford likes to put them close to the back of the radio if you have an in dash six disc player.  The chances of the VSS wire being grey/black are pretty good.

It is WHITE/ orange pin 68 at PCM in the passenger's kickpanel.
