Hey i got a mtx 1501D and was wondering if it can handle a 1 ohm load?

It's only rated to 2-ohms.

ive run a bd501 rated at 2ohms for like 1/2 year no prob just means they cant guarantee that it will run at that load nad not xplod

Its only rated for 2 ohms but I have run them at one ohm succesfully, will lots of venting

cool it wont be for long just untill i can afford to get the other sub. see their dual 2ohm subs so when i have two i'll bridge them down to a 2 ohm load but for not i may leave it at 4 ohms or take a risk at 1.
