Will be installing the following:
R/F Power 851x 4ch amp
MBQ PCE-216 (as coax in doors)
JLA 10W3v2-D4 (2)
ALP CDA-9830 headunit

I wanted to know if there is a way to install the headunit other than the Best/Metra etc kits. Maybe so it's more flush (trim ring-less) and trimmed out w/ABS
here is what I'm looking to have- my previous Z28 (https://users4.ev1.net/~txclark/pics/99z28interior.jpg).
I used a reg. kit and moddified it, but can't see any way to do so with the truck.

Also I am looking for ideas (pics/links would be great!) for a sub enclosure, it's a std. cab f-150, for 2 10s and most likely it will have to be notched on the top so th ecenter console can lift up/down. I'm looking to end up with 1.4cu ft for the 10s, just want to keep it simple. Amp going under seat (after I adjust the seat bar).

Thank you all!

You may have to modify a metra kit to get what you want.  The 04's take a different harness and kit from the 03 and older.

The dash looks the same as my '01 Lightning, I'm sure the harness is same too.
