I'm wanting to upgrade my system..I currently have 2 rfp4810s 8 ohms 200 watts rms and i haven't purchased my amp.  I was wondering how good these subs are i had them sounding pretty nice in a ported box with 40 watts to each.  If im wanting more boom should i go out and get 2 more 10s and put 4 in my 90 ford ranger super cab.  Or can i fit in a 15 of some sort?  What opinions do you have?  Thanks

Does anyone know if 4 10's will fit in the back of a 1990 ford ranger supercab?

It would be tight, You will probally have to build some sort of custom wrap around box that contours to your truck. I dont believe that they will fit flat like that. I know of someone who has 3 across, and its not close, but idk if you could squeeze another sub in there. But i would deffinely go with the 4 10"s over one 15"

I'd rather go with the 4 tens because then my impedance load would be 2 ohms and theres an amp i've found that would work perfect for that set up.  thanks for all the quick answers..one last q...you guys think that would be better in a sealed or ported box?

If you want a little more sq, go sealed. If you want loud, go ported. Make sure that all the subs are identical. Make sure that the amp you choose will properly power the subs. I have done 3 dvc 4 ohm 12's in a Ranger xtracab and babam baby does it lay waste. 4 10's will fit just fine.

wouldnt a ported box for 4 10s be too big for a ranger?

3 12's in  a 5.5 cuft. dual slot ported enclosure with an amp rack on top that all fit behind the front seats with ease and below the rear window. It will fit.

Cool thanks for all the quick replys.  I think I'll go with 4 10's rockford rfp4810 and get a amp thats just a  little over the rms rating and put it all in a sealed box..hopefully that'll work out nice!  Thanks again
