Thanks again for all the input on my last "power problem" post it helped alot and pretty much the final conclusion is I need another battery, now I have an optima yellow top up front and I'd like to get another but the ol wallet is a little thin at this point and time so what other brands of batteries out there would still do the job persay as a second battery? I'll be putting my crossfire 402, 7"monitor, and maybe my PS2, on it. Thanks for the input.

NEVER mix battery types... The batteries must all be the same type, voltage, and AH rating. This is to ensure they all charge and discharge equally. If you skip this step, you will be buying batteries sooner than necessary, as one may charge/discharge the other...

what if I got an isolator? Or should I just not even screw around and just get another optima? Or get rid of the optima and go with 2 of a different brand?

Wait till you can spring for a second IDENTICAL optima... do not wait more than a couple of months, tho... If you do, the first battery's spec may drift enough to bring about the bad things previously mentioned.
Some people rave about the Stinger stuff, not a fan... Been REALLY happy with the optima gear, and the warranty is spectacular. Less spendy, too.
