1989 BMW 325i, Placement of Subs

What would be the best thing to do about puting two subs in my  1989 BMW 325i. The truck cuts the sound dramatically. There is a metal panel form the trunk to the seats and no wholes leading to the cabin. Only wholes are the speaker wholes for the 5 1/4 speakers which are above the seats near the rear window. Thank you for your info.

i've put a pair of 6.5 " woofers UNDER the back seat in the metal panel between the seat botton and the floor a few times and have gotten some fairly good low end response... of course it's not going to hit like a 12", but if you just want a bit more presence in the low end without chewing the sh*t out of the rear of the car, it's an option....
