Subs popping

I have two JL 10W0's pushed by a kicker amp 100 x 2. When the volume is turned all the way down the subs sorta pop. They continue popping until i turn the volume back up. What gives?

My guess is that your gain is set to high, and your amp is clipping. Try turning down the gain on the amp and see if it goes away. If it does, make sure to set it correctly.
