It seems to me that they are on par with Lightning Audio, Profile, Pyramid, Crunch USA, or any other discount store amps. The power #'s listed are more than likely peak power. Generally, divide the peak in half (on cheaper amps that do not display the RMS power) to figure what they're rated RMS at, and then figure you'll actually be getting about 2/3 to 3/4 of that under actual use. Cheaper amps almost always overrate their amps in the interest of sales. If you are thinking of buying off of e-bay ( as the link leads to), for the $200.00 US that they're asking for this, you could find a much better, more reliable brand that will actually put out more watts RMS, and much cleaner sound!

I would not recommend buying that amp, or any similar "flea market" brand amps.  Get a amp that you know the exact wattage you are getting out of it. I would recommend a JBL 600.1 or 1200.1

No, no, no-for $200 or less you can find yourself a fat amp at CBRstereo.com or AudioWarehouseExpress.com.  For $150 + $13 s&h I got a Rockford Fosgate Power 450 at CBRstereo.  450 watts is a conservative rating, the thing puts out more like 500W rms.  My point is you can get yourself a great piece of equipment w a warrenty for the same $$$ and save yourself the headache of ebay.

Well...ebay is good for some things. Just not that. What Alex recommended is not a bad deal at all. It's not putting up the 2400 watt numbers like that amp you're considering but the numbers are closer to what the amp actually puts out. Are you looking for something to power a set of subs?

YIKES!  That POS amp is from the same Chinese sweat shop assembly line that produces our friends Performance Teknique and Volfenhag and other flea-market quality brands.  Pure crap and not to be trusted.  The specs for clean sound on that thing are probably much closer to 100 watts then 1000.  Don't waste your money unless you want a nice looking $200 paperweight.

What you should do is save that money and buy a better amp.

Dont get the "i have to get it now" attitude. You'll be better off and will

be glad that you saved your money and buy another amp when you have the right amount.

It'll Save you time and trouble. if u buy the amp You'll end up going back to it and getting an exchange or refund.

That would be my suggestion.

good luck
