I already put this in the fiberglass section ... but i think i'll get a faster responce here...

I'm trying to run an 8 gauge wire from the inside of my box to the outside. But i can't fine any Speaker Terminal Cups that will do anything larger then 12ga.

Would it be ok for my to drill a whole in the wooden part of the enclosure (the enclosure is made of wood and fiberglass) that is just big enough for the pos and neg wires to run through and then fill in the extra space with some kind of glue or caulking?

IDK if you need to know this but its an Alpine Type-R SWR-1221 wired at 4ohms - powered by a RF 360.2

there is no reason to use the 8ga wire but if you want to you can usually get terminal cups that will work for that. i know i had a pair of cups on a box of mine that fit 6ga wire. ill try searching for a pair for you when i get out of this damn place called school.
