I have been hearing about this stuff for a couple of months on here and am starting to get curious. I live up in Canada and am looking for a dealer either in canada or that will ship to Canada. I am looking for a set of 6 1/2 inch compnents and depending on how I like them and how I precieve the build quality I may switch my drivers over as well. If any one has any info (looking your way steve) it would be greatly appreciated.

Our Canadain dealer is Creative Sound Solution.  You can find their website at https://www.creativesound.ca/ .

The component set we have available right now is our Koda components.  Here's a link to our web page.  https://www.adireaudio.com/Files/KodaComponentsOwnerGuide.pdf  I actually got mine when I was an Adire dealer.  I used to use some a/d/s/ component's which were great except they lacked in midbass.  Dan  Wiggins (the owner of Adire Audio) sent me a set of Koda's to try out and see how I like them (it's great to be a dealer).  They had the midbass I was missing (their nearly 7mm excursion helps that), and also didn't roll off on the high end as early.  Other than that, they sounded just as good as the nearly twice as expensive a/d/s/ comonents.

The set is designed for off axis mounting.  Look at the frequency response on the above linked page, and you will see what I mean.  That is taken at 50 degrees off axis.  So if you plan on putting them in kick pannels, they might not be the best choice.  Also, the midrange is VERY large.  It's not that it's deep (just under 3", but that they are wide.  So they might not be a direct drop-in.  The mids are also ugly.  But the sound is well worth the looks and slight install issue.

We are in the process of designing some new mids right now using our XBL^2 motor called the Extremis 6.  You can find some of the specs here: https://www.adireaudio.com/StockProducts/raw_drivers.htm#Extremis%206 .  Notice the 12mm excursion.  That was independantly measured by Dr. Kippel himself on his machine at this years CES.   We won't be offering these drivers in a component set, but one of our OEM's will.  You might want to check out Resonant Engineering's future offerings.  I love my Koda's.  But I have a feeling the RE set will even blow them away.  Just be careful with the mounting depth.
