Has anyone used there high end subs? How did you like them?

the id max  is probably one of the most well rounded subs you will come across.  They use a skinny, but tall surround so they have a bigger cone area, but with  the tall surround they have some pretty serious excersion.  Id get one, or 3 if i wasn't poor right now.

we just put two idmaxs in a car with a orin 2500d on the in the recomended box and they sounded great, funny thing was they were very strong at 40 hz, most everyone metering in the shop here is up around 50 hz but let me tell you 146db at 38 to40 hz really sounds good for volum and as far as normal listening goes they are very tight and accurate. we love them but if you want them from image you will usually have to wait to get them.

The shop I used to work at was an ID dealer.  The Max did sound nice, and got loud, but IMO was a little over priced for what you got.  There are other subs that will give you the same performance for cheaper, or better performance for the same price.

Im looking at running 2 idmax 12's powered by 2 kicker 1200x1's that I already have.
