Clif Designs?

Any body have any experience with Clif Designs products? A new local shop opened up and the carry Zapco, Morel, Crossfire, Treo, and Clif Designs. I loved the way the CD's sounded on the board, but am worried that they might just be a different name on a lesser brand. They come with a 5 year warranty which I thought is cool. Their new LX line of amps look really cool IMO.

A high end shop.  I wouldn't think he would put a lump of coal in among the diamonds.

Clif Designs is the same quality level as MA Audio.  In fact they are distributed by the same company and I think the two may simply be re-packaging the same products, but I cannot say that for sure.  The other brands you mention at that shop should out-class it, but if you like the sound of the Clif products, then by all means go for it.  Don't buy anything because it "looks cool" unless you don't care about sound quality!

They had the CD 6.5's running off a Clif Designs amp and it sounded really clean to me, but just a little bit less than what the Morel's sounded like. I thought the looks of the amp was just a "plus". I can't decide if I want to get 2 sets of the Clif's or buy another set of Focal's or Diamond Audio's. Plus the Clif's come with a 5 year warranty. I won't be competing with this set-up if that helps out with the advice giving.
