here the problem the p&s calculator does not put dvc into the equation so what would my ohm level be when i wire 6 subs down? also the woofer wire site on rockford fosgate only goes up to four subs. now the subs are kicker solo baric l7 from last year 4 ohm dvc 12's. now i have the power and a hookup on an enclosure and im only gonna use one amp the earthquake 6000 watt d3 amp..............anybody know what the ohm level will be and how should i wire them?

Ok, break it down. Six dvc subs can be the same, wiring wise, as 12 svc subs. So you can do it this way(break it down to 2 groups of 6 subs) or you can use either 2ohm or 8 ohm for the subs and play with it that way, you don't want to mess with oddball resistances like half are 8 and half are 2 because some will see more power then others.

Always check info with a digital multimeter.

have a field day bud. 6 DVC drivers with Voice Coils in Series / Parallel Connecting the two voice coils of each driver in series (+ to -) and the drivers themselves in parallel (+ to +, etc.) will result in the following impedances: Dual-6 Ohm Subwoofers: 2 Ohms Dual-4 Ohm Subwoofers: 1.3 Ohms Dual-2 Ohm Subwoofers: 0.7 Ohms | | |
