im helping my brother look for a new HU.  and we found this.  does anyone have any experience with it?  or just with kenwood in general?  it seems to have everything he's looking for in the price range he wanted to stay in.  he has also looked at alpine but the one that fits his budget is in the 250 range........any info would be great!  thanks in advance

Kenwood fills a good entry level niche..... it's not high end, but it's also not high priced

Kenwood's MP-425 deck is a really nice deck, I have used Kenwood decks for about 6-8 years now, Currently I have a KDC-X679, as I tend to prefer the Excelon models. But I sold my HU from last year and put the 425 in for about two weeks, I didn't really play with it much as I knew it was coming right back out ( Didn't have the model I have in stock). But I thought it was a nice all around deck.
