First off, I was wondering if anyone had any wiring diagrams for a 2004 Ford Focus ZTS (with Blaupunkt head unit)
Secondly, I was wondering what you guys thought about this:
I just purchased four 220-watt Pioneer 6"x8" speakers (https://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/product/detail/0,,2076_4071_35273,00.html) and a Kenwood 640 watt amplifier (https://www.kenwoodusa.com/product/product.jsp?productid=2480). I'm trying to install this into my car, with the factory Blaupunkt head unit. I want to do so without making hardly any "permanent" modifications (such as drilling holes, etc.)
The game plan is to basically run wiring from the head unit through the center console, to the underneith of the right front passenger seat. This is where the amplifier will be velcroed (a lot...) down. The wiring will then run back through the center console to where the factory wiring harness is.
The only thing I am curious about is the power. This is the first amplifier I have ever installed. Is there anyway that I can avoid having to run a power wire from the battery? (can I hook it up to the fuse box or something?)
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. The less drilling, the less cutting, the better.
You must run power from the battery but Im sure there are empty gromments in the fire wall you can go through and if you find one you can just pull the gromment out and run the wire through there

double-secret reverse-osmosis speaker-cone-induced high-level interference distortion, Its a killer
Hmm... I wish there was another way. I'd run a deep cycle separate battery, but there isn't enough room in that tiny car. It was hard enough getting the amp to fit adequately underneith of the seat.
https://www.focusfanatics.com/ has a lot of Focus-specific info, if you haven't looked at it yet.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

Why would you need a deep cycle battery, just for a kenwood amp? And yes, you must run the power wire directly to the battery. It's really not that hard. Just run the power wire under your trim ,on the opposite side of the rca cables if possible, and then find a hole (there probobly already is one) in your firewall and run the power wire through it.
