I have a bass tester cd and i wanted to know if it was bad for your subs and speakers. I hear they exercise the subs and make them use different parts of the subs that dont usually get used. Can anyone clarify to me whats the purpose. THANKYOU

They are fine for your subs and amps as long as you watch out for distortion when using them (DONT turn up your system really loud unless you are sure it can handle it and if you do WATCH OUT for distortion or say good bye to your subs). All music or test tones use the same parts of the subs (unless your sub cone flys out the back window because of the low bass tonesposted_image posted_image).

By not turning your volume on your cd player all the way up (or farther then the point where you set the gain for your sub amp) and setting the gain on your amp correctly.
