well. this deck works but the left rear doesnt want to have sound.....

does this mean its totaly toast?

or can it be fixed

Try swaping wires left to right see what happens speakers could be shorted out or bad connections, troubleshoot b4 coming to conclusions, if when u swap right read dosent work then u have a bad output on the deck amp.

While your back there pls if you have time write down the pin locations for power and speakers etc.  i'm using a sony wiring harness in an Aiwa deck and i dont want to fry it.  Number left to right if you were looking at the back of the deck 2 rows thanks in advance and good luck.

Check your speaker, just because it plays with the factory HU, doesn't mean it will play with the AIWA.  The Aiwa puts out more power and a bad speaker will not play.
